Beautifully appointed, Between Two Pines is just minutes away from the quaint, magical town of Idyllwild.
Idyllwild is the perfect escape from the bustle of modern life. The San Jacinto National Park, has more than 50 trails for you to explore either on foot or by bike. Bikes rentals are available in town. Rock climbers can scale Tahquitz rock. A hike through many of the forest trails will take you by mountain streams and lead you to peaks with views of the Coachella Valley below, and on clear days, the Salton Sea hundreds of miles away. In town there are many native shops and restaurants for you to browse around and enjoy. Idyllwild is small enough that wherever you go you’ll be close to nature.
In 2013, Stratford Players made Idyllwild its new home and now perform theatre year round. Events are held outdoors in the afternoon, keeping with Elizabethan custom. Stratford Players present both staged readings and full productions of non-Shakespearean plays from the classics to recent Broadway hits.
The community has been the home of the Idyllwild Arts Foundation for over 60 years. Within the community, there are many art galleries and weekly art events, many featuring local practicing artists.
A strong music and local theatre element exists. Various small venues feature everything from classical music to current popular music and jazz.
